David T. Caserta – Advisor

David T. Caserta is the founder and president of David T. Caserta, Government Relations, Inc.  He has been active in public life for close to three decades.  He began his political career in 1991 as a Councilman for the City of North Miami.  During his tenure, he developed and assisted in the implementation of the North Miami Downtown Economic Revitalization Project, improved local schools and was responsible for the return and expansion of the local Film industry.

In 1994, David decided to venture into the Government relations business.  He has represented a variety of clients in front of the state Legislature and local governments. David encouraged and established the Film Industry government relations effort and has represented the Florida film and Entertainment industry for over 20 years. He is responsible for helping create the strategy for securing the historic tax incentives back in 2010. He has since been part of creating the most recent programs designed to bring the industry back to Florida. 

 In 2000, David earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University.  He has since used his law degree to aid his clients even further on general business matters.  As founder of Caserta Spiriti, PLLC, he engages in contract negotiations, leases and purchase agreements, and personal services.  David and his firm also represent clients in entertainment, business organization, joint ventures, corporate, Sub-Chapter S, and LLC formation and operations, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, minutes and bylaws, and contracts. 

 David also has extensive experience in real estate.  For more than 35 years he has handled the acquisition, management, development, leasing, financing, and disposition of real estate projects in Florida.  These include residential properties, office buildings, apartment projects, shopping centers, hotels, mixed-use developments, and industrial projects. He has also served as a respected Court Appointed Receiver and Government Monitor for the U.S. Marshalls Office and is also a Florida Supreme Court circuit court mediator. David also serves as an independent consultant for private corporations on general business matters such as development and regulation.
